Pharmaceutical Cluster Kaluga (PCK) was founded in 2012 as a non-profit partnership of Kaluga region. The cluster’s main mission is to assist the members of the partnership in the formation of high-tech complex of interrelated industries and regional infrastructure for the development, production and sales of a new generation of medicines, medical equipment and medical products in accordance with the standards of Good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Pharmaceutical Cluster Kaluga (PCK) was founded in 2012 as a non-profit partnership of Kaluga region. The cluster’s main mission is to assist the members of the partnership in the formation of high-tech complex of interrelated industries and regional infrastructure for the development, production and sales of a new generation of medicines, medical equipment and medical products in accordance with the standards of Good manufacturing practices (GMP). The PKC cluster members are involved in preclinical and clinical studies, development and synthesis of pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals, and the production and manufacturing of pharmaceutical substances and finished pharmaceutical products (FPP), infusion solutions and parenteral nutrition. It is a part of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform(ECCP).

OBJECTIVES:
- Represent the interests of the cluster members in governing, helping to empower the scientific, industrial and social development of the partnership members;
- Protect their rights and lawful interests, enhancing competitiveness and economic potential of the partnership.
ACTIVITIES:
- Conducting clinical and preclinical trials;
- Development, synthesis and industrial production of finished dosage forms and pharmaceutical substances;
- Development of production technologies in the field of fine chemicals;
- Radiomeditsina, production of radiopharmaceuticals;
- Production of infusion solutions and parenteral nutrition;
- Executive training and retraining staff in conditions as close as possible to the actual production according to GMP standards.
