The Romanian Association of Biomass and Biogas (ARBIO) was founded in 2012. The leading voice of Bioenergy in Romania, ARBIO is focused on its development based on professional standards and a business approach. It is already a member of the European Biomass Association (AEBIOM) and the European Biogas Association (EBA). In a market with great potential, it promotes/ supports sustainable investments in the sectors of Biogas, Biomass, Anaerobic Digestion, Waste to Energy, Biodiesel, Bioethanol, Recycling and more.
Main objectives are:
• Improve the national framework for the development, construction and operation of Bio projects;
• Secure the income generated by Bio investments;
• Transform Bio investments into feasible, bankable ones, through project financing;
• Create business opportunities for all serious market players;
• Provide accurate information about the Romanian market and all key issues of interest;
• Focus on the expansion of Bio investments in Romania.
