Center for Energy Efficiency Eneffect is a non-profit non-governmental organization, established in 1992 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2004, EnEffect - Consult SPLtd. was established by EnEffect in compliance with the Energy Efficiency Act requirements to entities, which are authorized to perform energy audits and energy efficiency certification of buildings. Its activities also include research and analyses in the area of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
The EnEffect’s main objectives are:
• to contribute to the development of energy efficiency policy at all management levels in Bulgaria
• to achieve economic and environmental benefits for the country
• to assist the process of institutional development and capacity building in Bulgaria as a prerequisite for the initiation, development and implementation of energy efficiency projects and programs
• to assist technology transfer and exchange of experience and information.
