Summer School “European Integration and Energy Security” in Yerevan, Armenia - Deadline 4 July!
Yerevan State University as part of the Jean Monnet Network "Developing European Studies in the Caucasus" (DESCnet) invites graduate (BA level) and post-graduate (MA level: students and recent graduates) students to apply for the second DESCnet Summer School on European Integration and Energy Security.
The school aims to spread knowledge and examine interrelated processes of European Integration and Energy security issues in the South Caucasus, Russia and Turkey with a special emphasis on challenging geopolitical situation in the region, existing conflicts, closed borders as well as current economic developments. Through interactive methods of teaching and learning, participants will have an opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and to analyse political, legal and economic aspects of Energy Security in the Caucasus and the EU; possible developments and challenges.
Apart from lectures, round tables, workshops and seminars, participants will work on special student project/s and make presentations at the final part of the school programme.
The working language is English and participation is equal to 6 ECTS credits.
