Target groups of the conference are interested participants from academia, government and business across the Danube Region. The aim is to gather all relevant actors working in the identified societal challenges and support them in networking and establishing long-term dialogue among them.

The conference will envisage a plenary round table and three parallel sessions (on food, materials and environmental technologies and energy) during the first day, while a brokerage event to facilitate matchmaking between researchers, industry and government will be organised in the morning of day 2. It will be a unique possibility to link up participants with a special view of finding partners for upcoming calls.

Back to back with the conference, the 4^th Danube-INCO.NET Clustering Workshop will be organized, aiming at the formation of new macro-regional partnerships towards the development of bio-economy, with particular focus on linking challenge-oriented research, innovation networks, industry and government.

Travel and accommodation costs can be financed by the BSH grant (Task 3.3).
